Dave Rude Band – DRB

Rating: B
Dave Rude replaced
Tommy Skeoch in Tesla. The youngster is tall, good-looking
and can flat play the shit out of the guitar. While his day
job keeps him busy, Rude still has taken time to record a
six song EP and release it on his MySpace page.
Rude is able to take
modern rock sounds and fill em up with the attitude and
spirit of classic rock, the result is a CD that rocks hard
and loud. The best of the bunch is a tune called "Heavy as a
Raindrop (C’mon, C’mon)" while "Eighteen Eyes" and "Crooked
Bullseye" both rock hard as well. Rude has the look and
sound to make a solo career work – he just needs a deal and
some exposure. In the meantime he will remain in Tesla
impressing all who hear him.
DRB is part classic
hard rock, part cock rock and part Top 40, the mix of styles
is entertaining and interesting. Click on over to Dave’s
MySpace and hear the tunes for yourself.
