In 2004 guitar legend Carlos
Santana took to the stage at the Montreux Jazz Festival and
invited three men who influenced his playing to join him on
stage. Imagine Santana jamming with blues legends Bobby
Parker, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown and Buddy Guy. Now that
you have the visual get off yer ass and go buy the DVD.
This is a guitar feast that
features extended and improvised versions of some of the
blues hottest moments including Guy’s "Stormy Monday,"
Parker’s "Mellow Down Easy" and Brown’s "I’ve Got My Mojo
Working." From start to finish this is a true look at two
generations of musical legends. Final note: The best of the
bunch are simply titled "Jam Session 1" and "Jam Session 2"
featuring Santana and Guy. WOW!
