OZZY
OSBOURNE TALKS TO CLASSIC ROCK REVISITED |
Ozzy Osbourne will release his latest CD
titled Scream on June 22, 2010. The Prince
of Darkness sat down with Classic Rock Revisited to
discuss Ozzy's new music, as well as his new bandmates,
guitarist Gus G and drummer Tommy Clufetos.
The sounds of Scream are a
mix of classic Ozzy and modern Metal, with a fair dose
of Black Sabbath thrown in for good measure.
Speaking of Black Sabbath, listen to the audio below to
see what Oz thinks the odds are for an all original
Black Sabbath reunion some time in the future.
Scream is the best album Ozzy has
put out since No More Tears. The album is
dark, foreboding and pure Heavy Metal. In this
interview, Ozzy tells the true and horrifying
tale behind the song "Latimer's Mercy" in which a father
euthanizes his severely ill daughter and ends up in
prison. He also discusses his thoughts on religion
and how the topic inspired him on the songs "Crucify Me"
and "Diggin' Me Down."
Ozzy tells why Zakk Wylde is no longer
in the band as well. Turning our attention to
Randy Rhoads, Ozzy confesses the sadness he feels when
he sees Randy Rhoads Mother, Deloris Rhoads yet follows
by saying how much he thinks of her.
Lastly, you don't want to miss Ozzy
coming clean about setting former Black Sabbath bandmate
Bill Ward on fire and painting the drummer's dick blue.
