Ben Waters may not be a household name but the 35
year old is actually one of the best boogie piano
players in the world. He is regarded as a true leader in
his field and is currently working with Rolling Stones
drummer Charlie Watts.
Ben, a huge Stones fan, has released a tribute to the
Stones original keyboard player, Ian Stewart. He invited
a ton of famous friends to put the frosting on the cake.
Rest assured, this is one desert that is to be savored
and then devoured. Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Ronnie
Wood, Charlie Watts, PJ Harvey, Mick Jagger and even Ian
Stewart make appearances on the CD.
Waters isn’t looking to get rich off this project as
all proceeds are going to the British Heart Foundation.
He simply wants to show his gratitude and thanks to a
man who helped to give him the passion that has led to
his life works. This is a solid album by a true talented
man.
