Huw is best known as English band Hawkwind’s guitar player. Hawkwind is a legendary band that mixed it up like no one before and few after. Space rock, hard rock and acid rock were mixed with what some would come to call heavy metal making Hawkwind one of a kind in the annals of rock superstardom. The band even spawned Motorhead’s Lemmy.

Huw has released an album of 18 instrumental classic guitar pieces from the 18^th, 19^th and 20^th centuries. The pieces are short and conscience. His playing is competent but he is far from a virtuoso. The songs are mostly classical standards including “Romeo and Juliet” and “Bouree but Huw pays homage to Hawkwind with their track “5^th Second of Forever.”

While this one is much more tame than anything Hawkwind ever did, it goes well late at night with candle light and your mate by your side.
