Cockpit
have been rocking the Sunset Strip for years and, as an all-girl
hard rock band, they are a fun act to check out. Simply put,
they play AC/DC style music that is punked up and slutted out.
The band
has released a five song EP that features all original songs.
The band has flair. Front woman, Linda Lou, is a hot number who
dresses in leather and has a voice perfectly made for the
music. Guitarists Lou, and Alicia Blu, rock their three-chord
music with distorted bar chords while bass player “Terrii Kiing
and drummer Rachael Rine pound out the rhythm.
Think AC/DC
meets the Plasmatics with Linda Lou being a hotter version of
Wendy O. Williams (minus the electrical tape over the boobs) and
you will get an idea of what Cockpit is all about. This is
nothing original or even over the top about this band – just
good cock rock by a band of girls who will make any guy stand up
and salute!
