The Jam: About the Young Idea
http://www.eagle-rock.com/product/about-the-young-idea/#.V1HtsCGM6OY

“About The Young Idea” is the story of The Jam. It charts their career from formation in the early seventies, through the heady days of chart success and on to their break up in 1982. The program features extensive, brand new interviews with Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler alongside archive performance footage and new contributions from fans, journalists and many involved in the band’s career. The package contains “About The Young Idea” on Disc One and “When You’re Young”, The Jam’s previously unreleased performance on famous German TV show Rockpalast from 1980 on Disc Two. Together these make up the ultimate set for any fans of The Jam.

Genesis: Sum of the Parts
http://www.eagle-rock.com/product/sum-of-the-parts-3/#.V1HtxSGM6OY

“Sum Of The Parts” is the official authorized story of Genesis made with the full co-operation of the band members. It tells of the band’s formation at Charterhouse (where Tony Banks, Peter Gabriel and Mike Rutherford were all pupils) in the late sixties and the release of their debut album “From Genesis To Revelation”. The story then moves on through the departure of founder member Anthony Phillips and the arrival of Phil Collins and Steve Hackett in 1970 to form the 5-man line-up that established the band’s career with albums such as “Foxtrot” and “The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway”. Peter Gabriel’s departure in 1975 and then Steve Hackett’s in 1977 led to the release of the album “And Then There Were Three…” and a move towards shorter, more immediate songs. The eighties and nineties were triumphant decades for Genesis with hugely successful hit albums and singles around the world such as “Genesis”, “Invisible Touch” and “We Can’t Dance”. At the same time as they were recording and performing with Genesis,  Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford (as Mike & The Mechanics) were all enjoying successful solo careers, as were departed members Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett. “Sum Of The Parts” explores the dynamics of the group that has enabled them to survive changes of line-up, see their musical direction steadily evolve and maintain both group and solo careers along with their enduring popularity as evidenced by their hugely successful 2007 reunion tour.

Deep Purple with Orchestra: Live in Verona
http://www.eagle-rock.com/product/live-in-verona/#.V1Hs3SGM6OY

Filmed in the spectacular surroundings of the Arena di Verona, a Roman amphitheatre originally built in 30 AD, this concert from the summer of 2011 sees Deep Purple joined on stage by a full symphony orchestra for performances of all their classic tracks. Deep Purple remains one of the finest hard rock bands on the planet and are undoubtedly at their best when performing live. Here, the orchestral arrangements give an added depth and range to the familiar songs and the band responds to both playing with the orchestra and performing in such a historical location to deliver a brilliant show in front of a huge and enthusiastic crowd.

From his earliest recordings with Roxy Music at the beginning of the 1970s, Bryan Ferry has taken his place as one of the most iconic and innovative musicians and songwriters to emerge in popular music.  Ferry’s “Olympia” tour travelled the world in 2011, including this spectacular performance filmed on July 25 at the ancient Roman amphitheatre in Lyon, France as part of the Nuits de Fourviere Festival. The show features tracks from across Ferry’s 40 year career including classic Roxy Music songs, solo hits and his renowned interpretations of other writer’s material all delivered with the style and panache that is uniquely Bryan Ferry.
