Rating: A+

What do you get when you take one of the best, and most successful albums in the career of a Rock and Roll Hall of fame inductee and add a second disc of a live concert and a third CD of rare versions of the songs found on the parent album?  Fleetwood Mac perfection!

For starters, on disc one you get the entire iconic Rumors album included the B-Side tune “Silver Springs.”  Rumors has sold over 40 millions albums in this, its 35th years of existence.  What a better way to celebrate the anniversary of such a great album.

The original track listing of the album reads like a greatest hits and includes “Second Hand News,” “Dreams,” “New Going Back Again,” “Don’t Stop,” “Go Your Own Way,” “Songbird,” “The Chain,” “You Make Loving Fun,” “Oh Daddy” and “Gold Dust Woman.”

The live disc, recorded during Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 tour includes many of these hits as well as other classics such as “Monday Morning” and “Rhiannon. While the third disc includes a selection of 16 unreleased recordings from the albums sessions including early takes of "Go Your Own Way, " "I Don t Want To Know" and the popular b-side "Silver Springs." There are also several demo recordings, including one for the outtake "Planets of the Universe," plus an instrumental version of "Never Going Back Again."

At the end of the day, this one just begs to be cranked up time and time again.  It is truly one of the best albums, not only of Fleetwood Mac’s heyday, but of all time.
