Stone Temple Pilots – Alive in the Windy City
Eagle Rock Entertainment

Rating: BIn 2010, the Stone Temple Pilots took the city of Chicago by storm and delivered a massive performance of their hits. Eagle Rock Entertainment recorded the film in state of the art high-definition. The sound is as strong as the visual. What is captured is this band doing what they do best.

The concert is mix of their classic tunes and some of the tunes off their self-titled album they were touring in support of in 2010. Scott Weiland steals the show, as he is one of the best front men of his era. He gives off a ton of energy. Seeing him back with the band performing “Interstate Love Song,” “Plush,” “Vasoline,” “Creep” and “Sex Type Thing” makes this one a must-own for fans of the band.

In a day and age when every band seems to be pumping out DVD and Blu-Rays, Eagle Rock Entertainment and the Stone Temple Pilots get a huge fist pump for doing it right. This is how a rock concert should be presented on film. After watching this one you will want to find out where to buy a ticket!
